In which Moonfire Faire has started. Read more.

Was the first day of the Moonfire Faire event. Fireworks were every where. The weebs got their yukata, and its a nice event overall (for glamours). Also fireworks. Plenty of fireworks everywhere.

Finally got around to making Mastery Book turn-ins for.. Alchemist. Mostly to see what was required to craft Artifact Armor Augmentations – the mat used to get dyeable Artifact armor. Turns out they are a 3-star craft.

On the bright side, the Artisan turn-ins for Alchemist weren’t troublesome – required two Volcanic Rock Salt (a level 50 gather for Miners) and one Vitriol (NPC-bought item from Kobold vendors). Spent maybe 200k or so Gil in this venture to fund 3-star Alchemist.

The first order of business with said Artisan tool was to craft my own Terminus Putty – no more need to fork over 10k a pop for NQ junk whenever I want to craft Cashmere Robes as Weaver when I can just fork over 450 Mythology Tomestones for (assuming a forgiving RNG) 3 HQ pieces.

In static progression, the group pushed into Garuda Extreme Mode today. Was close to clearing, but couldn’t be done even with 25% Echo. Almost tragic, but considering three of the four DPS classes were completely new to the Trial, it’s to be expected. If just two of them were new, and it was the usual six, it would have been an easy clear.

Still, results were still within expectations considering a lot of factors going into the Trial, if a bit underwhelming, they were. It isn’t likely we will have the T6 clear for this week, but all things considered, we should start actual progression within the next week. With the time constraints on weekdays that the new two have, it may very well take the rest of the week to get them geared and caught up, besides the whole getting practice and learning the raids – particularly the Extreme Mode Primals and T5/Twintania.

In closing, cat butt. And leg.
